The central NY region will be having two vintage race boat regattas.
Kicking off the NY vintage schedule will be a new event added to the circuit.
The Cross Lake Vintage Race boat Regatta located 20 miles west of Syracuse will have its inaugural event starting on Friday the 6th, running through Sunday the 8th of August. Followed the next weekend by the Clayton, NY event returning to the schedule after a one year absence. Clayton will be having their event at the site of the 1000 Island Antique Boat Museum. The site is an excellent venue for the family to enjoy both displayed classic crafts, and to also see many boats from many eras gear up to some high speeds.
Cross Lake is known for being an excellent site for racing having hosted outboard races there before. The water should be excellent there, and it is sure to be relaxing, and enjoyable at such a beautiful site.
